SW News: The Archdiocese of Baltimore is observing the weekend of March 13-14 as ‘Safe Haven Sunday’ to “raise awareness about the evil of pornography and to offer pathways for formation, hope and healing.” ‘Safe Haven Sunday’ is an annual campaign that aims to protect families, marriages and individuals from pornography and to “promote a culture of digital integrity.”
Through a website ‘Clean Heart Online,’ the Archdiocese of Baltimore, provides free resources to ministry leaders, parents, educators and those addicted to pornography.
‘Clean Heart Online’ provides parents with tools and resources to better understand internet devices, apps and smartphone settings to protect themselves and their children. Parents can also take advantage of the free courses, e-books and email challenges.
Catholic ministry leaders can access courses, video trainings and seminars that would enable them to guide the faithful who have fallen prey to the addiction, to healing and freedom. Clean Heart Online provides both men and women struggling with pornography addiction, separate courses, reading materials and email challenges to overcome the addiction and grow in purity.
