SW News: A church in Spartanburg, a city in USA’s South Carolina was vandalized by suspected abortion rights advocates this week.

The miscreants entered the premises of Promised Land Church and spray-painted church signs, Christian school signs, sidewalk and city stop signs. They painted obscenity and symbols like swastika on the walls, said Pastor Tommy Quick, the founder of the church.

He also said that it was for the first time the community is witnessing an attack on their church. The damage done to the Church was known only when one of the parents approached the church officials to convey the news about the graffiti noticed at the Christian school on Tuesday morning.

The pastor said that their Church views the world biblically, they have anti-abortion rights views and they always believe in supporting the traditional family. According to him, their pro-life views might have brought hatred to the minds of the attackers. This might have led them to attack the church.
“It’s not unusual that you have people that don’t agree with you biblically, don’t agree with your doctrine or maybe the position you take on culture issues,” Quick added.

The pastor also said that he has no ill feelings towards the vandals and added that he is praying for them. The attacks on churches, mostly belonging to the Catholic Church, have intensified in the US after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v Wade on June 24.
