SW News: The Knights of Columbus are to open a pilgrimage center dedicated to the life and legacy of their 19th century founder Father Michael McGivney. The announcement was made by Supreme Knight Carl Anderson in his report to the organization’s annual convention last week. The new Blessed Michael McGivney Pilgrimage Center will be located at the current Knights of Columbus Museum in New Haven, Connecticut. Mr. Anderson said that the new center will focus on the spirituality and charitable vision of the organization's founder and his legacy too. Father McGivney is due to be beatified this October at a ceremony at St. Joseph’s Cathedral in Hartford, Connecticut.
