SW News: A new facility that welcomes expectant mothers in need will be blessed by Msgr. Italo Dell'Oro, the Auxiliary Bishop of Galveston-Houston in the state of Texas in the United States. The ceremony will take place on September 29, the day when Michael, Gabriel, and Rafael are honored as archangels.

According to a note sent to ACI Prensa, the center is called Maternidad Santa María, Madre de la Vida. The founder, Zeira Becerra, is a native of Colombia and has many years in the pro-life mission. Becerra said the home was created to help pregnant mothers who need assistance and who in other circumstances may have agreed to abortion. According to Becerra, the residence was built to assist expectant moms who require it and might otherwise have consented to an abortion.

She said the facility concentrates on the souls of these women, in addition to giving them accommodation and necessities for their infants.
