SW News: Pope Francis is to resume weekly public audiences – that’s after an almost six-month absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In a statement issued on Wednesday, the Vatican said that the Holy Father’s Wednesday Audience would re-open to the public on September the 2nd. Rather than host the gathering in St. Peter’s Square or the Vatican’s Paul VI Audience Hall, as would normally be the case, the audiences will now take place in the Apostolic Palace’s San Damaso courtyard.
