SW News: Noted evangelist Franklin Graham issued a dire warning regarding the increasing persecution of Christians in the United States. He was speaking at the National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) convention in Orlando, Florida.

The founder of the humanitarian outfit Samaritan's Purse, Franklin cautioned Christian media and ministry professionals to prepare themselves “for the impending storm”. The preacher advised Christian groups to be ready to combat the widespread practice of canceling orders or services in the financial, insurance, and technical sectors. As the difficulties grow, he exhorted them to stay focused on their objective, which is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Graham predicted that banks and internet firms would try to shut down Christian groups. Banks and internet corporations, according to CBN News, have "de-platformed" Christians. "You hurt people when you claim that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life and that there is no other road to heaven or God but Him," Graham said. Furthermore, he exhorted people to evangelize rather than give up or make excuses.

The son of the celebrated evangelist Billy Graham, Franklin said that there is nothing to worry about if you do not preach the gospel or debate sin. They will, however, try to silence you if you preach the gospel. Regardless of the circumstances, God needs Christian communicators to declare the gospel "as it is."

Graham prepared his audience by quoting Jesus in John 15:18–19, who states, "If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you." Everyone on Earth would adore you if you were born. Because I selected you, everyone despises you.
