SW News: In his keynote address at SLS20, Fr. Mike Schmitz called on Catholics to strive for heaven.

He warned Catholics not to pretend that our life is normal.

"Nothing great was ever accomplished in this world by pretending that everything was fine. Nothing great was ever accomplished in this world by being comfortable," he summarized.

Fr. Mike said Jesus is not an option but a necessity.

He addressed more than 9000 participants at the Phoenix Convention Center in Arizona.

The FOCUS Student Leadership Summit (SLS) is a biannual event that trains FOCUS student leaders in evangelization, discipleship, small-group Bible studies, and prayer.

In 2018, around 8000 people participated in the Summit which was held in Chicago.
