Whistleblowers in USA allege that FBI did target pro-lifers and Mass-attending Catholics

SW News: Reports from the United States of new whistleblowers state that the Federal Bureau of Investigation did in fact target pro-life associations, Catholics and those parents who take part in school board meetings. They did so by initiating probes to create an ambiance that these people were a threat to the internal security of America.
During a press conference on Thursday, May 18, House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan chronicled the reports before three whistleblowers from the Bureau were slated to render their testimonies before the committee.
In his report, Jordan detailed the allegations from the trio that the Bureau’s Washington DC office placed pressure on the FBI to coerce them to bow to a political agenda. "If you're a parent attending a school board meeting; if you're a pro-lifer praying at a clinic, or you're a Catholic simply going to Mass, you are a target of the government, a target of the FBI," he said in his report during the press meet.
Jordan said that Bureau staff tried to inflate their probes to treat such incidents as domestic and violent extremism cases. He explained how he held talks with more than two dozen Bureau whistleblowers in preparing the report. The three whistleblowers who spoke before the committee did face backlash from the FBI for divulging internal secrets.
According to Republican Matt Gaetz, the whistleblowers’ allegations that the DC field office of the Bureau is the source of the “rot” within the investigating agency. The representative Gaetz said, "A lot of the rot, the committee has learned, emerges out of headquarters, out of the Washington field office. “A whistleblower described the conflict that existed as the Washington field office put pressure on other field offices around the country to engage in law enforcement work without predication."
On the other hand, the FBI told Fox News that, its “mission is to uphold the Constitution and protect the American people. The FBI has not and will not retaliate against individuals who make protected whistleblower disclosures."
