SW News: Cardinal Andrea Yeom Soo-jung, the Archbishop of Seoul, on Friday, February 5, 2021 ordained 20 priests for the  Archdiocese of Seoul. The ordination ceremony was held at Myeongdong Cathedral following COVID-19 regulations.

The ordination ceremony was livestreamed on Catholic Peace Broadcasting and YouTube.

The archdiocese of Seoul has 232 Parishes serving over 1,030,862 Catholics.

The Catholic Church in South Korea has  grown  significantly in the last twenty years. 11% of the population of South Korea are now Catholics.

There are 3 archdioceses in South Korea, namely Archdioceses of Seoul, Daegu, and Gwangju with 15 dioceses under their jurisdiction.
