SW News: Israel’s Meir Amit Intelligence and Terrorism Information Center has revealed that the Islamic State is urging Muslims around the world to attack Christians. The outfit made this exhortation in the background of the burning of the Quran in Sweden by a right-wing politician.

A Telegram channel linked to the Islamic State carried posts calling for attacks on Christians. Insurgents called on Muslims to view the burning of their holy book as an insult to their faith and engage in acts to “shed the blood of the perpetrator”. For Muslims, the only way to heaven was by protecting the Islamic faith at any cost.

The channel also exhorted Muslims in Sweden and other European nations to retaliate in a tit-for-tat manner and to publicly burn LGBTQ rainbow flags in city centers. The outfit said on Telegram that Muslims should not show their anger through condemnations, marches, the boycott of Swedish goods and hashtags on social media platforms.

As per the Israeli think tank’s analysis, the slaying of more than 20 Christians in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo on Jan. 23 and attacks on Mozambican troops were in retaliation against the burning of the Quran outside the Turkish embassy in Stockholm by far-right leader Rasmus Paludan. The report says that ISIS considers all Christians across the globe as Paludan’s brothers.

Earlier this month, a video was brought out by the Mathani Foundation affiliated to the Islamic State in which Muslims are told to “kill them [infidels] wherever you meet them,” and it seeks more terror attacks in Western nations. It also depicts an ISIS operative in Syria giving an exhortation to Muslims in English to use all possible methods to inflict harm on ‘infidels’ (Christians). He urges them to use workplace tools and trucks as weapons to finish off Christians.

The militant is seen as saying, “Kill them wherever you meet them. If you are a tradesman, use a nail gun to nail the heads and crucify them on woodwork. If you are a truck driver, run over them until their streets are washed with their filthy blood or pour oil on their houses, while they are sleeping, and set them on fire, so that the message [not to harm Muslims and Islam] will be burned into their heads.”

The video also depicts an old recording of Abu Muhammad Al-Adnani who was the spokesman of the outfit from 2014 to 2016. In the recording, he urges Muslims in the West to kill the infidels as they are fair game.
