Panel to probe discrimination against Christians in the UK

SW News: A panel of commissioners has been set up by a Christian organization to look into the type and scope of discrimination against Christians in the UK.
Voice for Justice UK has established the Commission of Inquiry as a result of its poll of 1,500 Christians, which revealed that many Christians have encountered hostility and ridicule.
A majority of respondents which is about 61% under the age of 35 reported having encountered hostility and ridicule for expressing their ideas. The percentage of workers who felt free to voice their opinions at work fell below 35% for those under the age of 35 with 45% in total.
Only a fifth of respondents said that Christians were treated less favorably than other groups.
Several respondents said there is a lack of freedom of speech around LGBT issues. “The most painful and public experiences now seem to be related to LGBTQIA agendas. It is being forced down the throat of Christians who now have been consumed by fear and unable to say frankly 'I don't believe in this and I won't endorse this',” wrote one of the respondents.
There have been instances of "bullying" by LGBT advocates. One of the employers made it clear that “misgendering a Trans colleague is a sackable offence."
The Voice for Justice claims that the UK has the highest rate of legal proceedings for alleged hate speech in Europe. It issues a warning that things are only getting worse, citing recent instances in which Christians were fired, detained, or lost their jobs for holding certain beliefs.
Among them is Ben Dybowski, a teacher, who claims he was fired for hate speech after being invited to express his opinions during a training session. Isabel Vaughan-Spruce, a pro-life volunteer, has been arrested twice in the past year for silent prayer in an abortion clinic buffer zone. King Lawal, a Conservative councilor, was suspended by his party and dropped by seven organizations after saying that being gay was a sin.
This week saw the official inauguration of the Commission of Inquiry into Discrimination Against Christians, which is being managed by a team of experts in human rights and equality problems to investigate impartially the nature, context, and extent of discrimination faced by Christians in the UK.
