SW News: On Monday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy praised Patriot anti-missile defense systems given by the United States, stating that his country's military had an outstanding track record of stopping Russia's long-range air assaults.

In his daily video message, the prime minister claimed that if the Ukrainians got access to the Patriots and could guarantee a 100% interception rate of any Russian missile, "terror would be abolished." According to the Ukrainian armed forces' senior hierarchy, all 11 missiles launched during the midday attack were shot down.

"We must and will continue to respond to all manifestations of Russia's evil with our success, our pressure, and our Patriots," Zelenskyy said. And we will eradicate this wickedness."

The words from Zelenskyy come after a series of Russian strikes on Ukraine, including the use of missiles and drones to target the Ukrainian capital of Kyiv and other locations.

Russia launched 11 ballistic and cruise missiles against Kyiv in the morning, according to Ukrainian military chief Valerii Zaluzhnyi, and maintained its strikes with drones and cruise missiles throughout the night. Meanwhile, Ukrainian military authorities claim to have shot down 40 Russian missiles and drones.
