Bolivian archdiocese decries attacks against Catholic churches across country by radical feminists

SW News: As Catholic churches across Bolivia continue to experience protests and attacks by pro-abortion and radical feminist groups, another church was recently attacked. On Thursday, November 25, the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Santa Cruz de la Sierra was attacked by radical feminists on the day that marks International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.
Two days after the incident, the Archdiocese of Bolivia released a statement condemning the attack. The archdiocese said, "It’s astonishing that the self-proclaimed defenders of women would act violently against women themselves. Their intolerant and aggressive attitude belies the goodness of the cause.”
Other incidents of violence were also reported. In the capital, La Paz, there was an explosion outside the office of the nation’s bishops’ conference damaging a portion of the main door. The incident took place on November 24 and surveillance camera footage showed a person planting an explosive early in the morning.
The following day, a violent mob of feminists threw bottles, fecal matter and red paint at a group of women and men praying in front of Mary Help of Christians Church in the capital. The believers were assembled in front of the building to thwart any attack on the church by feminists. The mob shouted pro-abortion slogans as they indulged in violence.
