SW News: Catholic bishops in Mexico have spoken out against continuing violence in the country and called on governmental authorities to stop the bloodshed and establishing stability and peace.
In recent times, the country has experienced situations of great violence, said Auxiliary Bishop Alfonso Miranda Guardiola of Monterrey, secretary-general of the Mexican Bishops in a statement. They ensured that as a Church, they will pray and work incessantly for the reconstruction of the social fabric and asked the faithful and society in general to not be indifferent in the face of the pain of others.
