SW News: Although the fight to protect the child in the womb continues, pro-life supporters in the United States will gather on Sept. 18 at the gravesites of aborted babies and other memorial sites dedicated in their honor for the ninth annual National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children.

The pro-lifers will spend a day remembering the millions of babies who did not have the opportunity to be born with solemn prayers at the graves and other sites dedicated to the memory of children who were aborted across the country. Dioceses and welfare groups will host these events, many of which will be on the parish grounds and the parish cemeteries.

Every September, pro-life members will gather at the graves of aborted babies across the country to mourn those who lost their lives due to abortions and pay tribute to them.

The event is coordinated by the Society of Citizens for Life, Pastors for Life, and the Life Action Alliance. In many of these memorial sites, the bodies of aborted babies are appropriately buried.

The National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children was first observed in the year 2013. The remains of aborted babies have been properly buried at many of these memorial sites across the US.
