Office of US pro-life outfit, pregnancy center come under attack

SW News: Ever since the leak of the US Supreme Court draft opinion on the most anticipated Dobbs v Jackson Women's Health Organization Case, the attacks against pro-life organizations and pregnancy centers are continuing. In the latest series of attacks, a pregnancy center in Michigan and a pro-life organization’s office in Minnesota were vandalized by abortion advocates.
Vandals smashed the windows and doors of the Lennon pregnancy center in Michigan, and graffiti was spray-painted over its walls. The attack against the center reportedly took place last weekend. The center's president Gary Hillebrand stated that the graffiti left behind read, "If abortion isn't safe, neither are you!" He further added that 12 of the clinic's windows and four glass doors were shattered.
Meanwhile, in Minneapolis, the office of Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL), a pro-life organization, was attacked between June 14 and June 15. Its windows were smashed, and the walls were filled with graffiti. A pro-abortion advocate group, 'Jane's Revenge,' has taken responsibility for the attack.
Through a Facebook post, the organization stated, "MCCL office was vandalized, including graffiti and some broken windows. It's the second time we have been targeted in recent weeks. But we are grateful that we are all safe. As the Supreme Court prepares to rule in the Dobbs v. Jackson case, please pray for the safety of the justices, MCCL, and other pro-life groups."
They further added that the graffiti read, "Abortion is liberation." A spokesperson for the organization said the office has been vandalized twice in recent weeks.
MCCL is Minnesota's oldest and largest anti-abortion organization, founded in 1968. Through education, legislation, and political action, the group has nearly 240 chapters across the state to promote the value of life. Meanwhile, earlier this month, Cardinal Timothy M. Dolan of New York and Archbishop William E Lori of Baltimore condemned the attacks on pro-life centers and Catholic Churches and they appealed for peace and harmony.
