SW News: It was a beautiful sight to behold as hundreds gathered in Missouri, USA, to take part in the Midwest March for Life rally on April 14. Pro-life supporters gathered at the State Capitol in Jefferson City to make their voices heard for the need to protect the unborn.

According to organisers of the rally, the event was hosted to create awareness on the necessity to end abortions in the state. Believers, as well as pro-life supporters, marched through the streets of downtown Jefferson City around 10 am local time.

Kathy Forck, Midwest March for Life organizer, said that the group wishes to reach out to women seeking an abortion and provide resources. "So we just want to help women because it's found that 90 percent of the women who have an abortion are doing it because they don't have resources and we have so many resources here in the state of Missouri," she said. "We want to help women to make a choice that they can live with for the rest of their life and not have any sense of regret."

There was a prayer walk on the first floor of the Capitol Rotunda at 8 am local time. President of the National March for Life Jeanne Mancini, the Secretary of the State Jay Ashcroft, and representatives from the Diocese of Jefferson City, addressed the pro-life supporters.
