British PM Sunak supports traditional definition of biological sex
News Desk

SW News: British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has expressed his support for the biological sex which differs from the radical stance of Labor leader Sir Keir Starmer. Sunak said that 99.9 percent of women are born with the feminine gender traits. His defense of the traditional definition of gender comes at a time when in the West the gender ideology is being radically propagated in politics as well as curriculum.
The prime minister said he held a “slightly different point of view” when compared with Starmer on the issue of biological sex. Prime Minister Sunak said, "We should always have compassion and understanding and tolerance for those who are thinking about their gender ... but when it comes to these issues of protecting women's rights, women's spaces, I think the issue of biological sex is fundamentally important when we think about those questions.”
The prime minister added saying, "As a general operating principle for me, biological sex is vitally, fundamentally important to these questions – we can't forget that – and that's why we need to make sure, particularly when it comes to women's health, women's sports or indeed women's spaces, that we are protecting those rights and those spaces."
In fact the Equality and Human Rights Commission advised the Conservative Government to alter the words in the Equality Act to protect “biological sex” instead of “sex”. The prime minister also expressed support for revisions to the Act to make it easier to leave out trans people from spaces reserved for women.
Sunak came under fire regarding the LGBTQ community a day after he took oath as the 57th prime minister. A video of the Conservative leader saying that transwomen are not women is doing the rounds on social media.
While taking part in an interview with TalkTV leadership hustings on August 25 last year, Sunak was asked whether a transwoman was a woman. To that question, he answered in the negative. A video posted on YouTube by Mumsnet on April 27 shows the prime minister as saying, "It is important to have compassion and respect for people’s views.” He goes on to add that “When it comes to questions like toilets or sports, you know, I’m of the view that biology is important, it’s fundamental, it’s critical to how we approach those types of questions."
In yet another interview last March, Sunak supported the statement of former PM Boris Johnson who spoke of the distinction between men and women. Sunak said, "I think the Prime Minister (Boris Johnson) put it very well. I completely agree with him."
