FBI director says probes are underway to look into attacks on pregnancy resource centers

SW News: The director of the US Federal Bureau of Investigation Christopher Wray has said that the bureau has launched a number of probes into “attacks or threats against pregnancy resource centers, faith-based organizations and other pro-life organizations”. He was speaking during a hearing of the Senate Homeland Security Committee.
Wray said that 70 percent of crimes related to abortion targeted pro-life outfits ever since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade which had legalized the termination of pregnancy in 1973. "And you might be interested to know that since the Dobbs Act decision, probably in the neighborhood of 70% of our abortion-related violence cases or threats cases are cases of violence or threats against […] pro-life organizations. And we're going after that through our joint terrorism task forces, through our criminal authorities, FACE Act and things like that," he added.
During the hearing, Senator Rick Scott of Florida asked the FBI Director why it was not pledging resources to fight the escalation of crimes that target pregnancy resource centers, churches and other organizations that promote the sanctity of life. Wray answered saying, "We have about 20 field offices involved in this. And so, we take it very seriously. And again, I don't care you're motivated by pro-life views or pro-choice views. You don't get to use violence to express it."
Ever since the May 2 leak of the US Supreme Court draft of the opinion of justices on Dobbs v Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which would determine the outcome of Roe v. Wade, there have been attacks on more than 200 crisis pregnancy centers, pro-life organizations and churches. According to Fox News, the left-wing pro-choice outfit Jane’s Revenge was responsible for more than a dozen attacks on pregnancy centers. However, not a single member of that organization was arrested.
A list prepared by Family Research Council, a Christian NGO, as many as 38 churches were firebombed, damaged, ransacked, or scribbled with pro-abortion graffiti since the draft opinion was leaked in May.
