SW News: One of the world’s largest Catholic missions programs has unveiled its ambitious plans for 2021. The Fellowship of Catholic University Students or FOCUS will be hosting nearly 100 mission trips in the U.S. and around the world in the coming year. In total, they expect more than 1,700 students to take part in their mission trips. That includes nearly 30 mission trips in the United States and around 70 summer trips abroad with countries such as Japan and Jordan hosting FOCUS missionaries for the first time. FOCUS describes such mission trips as, “life-changing” as they allow participants to serve the physical and spiritual needs of the poor by, “meeting them where they are and embracing their community and dignity”. Interested students can sign up before February 15th.
