St. Louis:

The Fellowship of Catholic University Students - FOCUS - has revealed that over 18,000 individuals from all over the US have confirmed their participation in the 2024 SEEK Catholic Conference. This event, commencing on New Year's Day, 2024, aims to infuse St. Louis with a lively Catholic spirit. Established by FOCUS, SEEK occurs approximately every two years, striving to inspire young individuals to deepen their Catholic faith and share it with others. The 2024 SEEK conference will feature renowned Catholic speakers, fellowship activities, prayer and worship services, Eucharistic adoration, Holy Mass, and family entertainment.

Curtis Martin, co-founder of SEEK, expressed that the record-breaking number of registrations for this year's conference signifies the power of God, drawing individuals of various ages and backgrounds to unite and undergo transformation in Christ. The growth of SEEK mirrors a collective enthusiasm for faith and our mutual endeavor to become missionary disciples in our everyday lives. As we prepare to attend SEEK, we embrace Christ's call to illuminate our lives. Martin added that after SEEK24, our journey will lead us back to our colleges, parishes, and communities, each infused with a revitalized zeal to live as missionaries for Christ.

Many of the speakers from last year's conference, such as Fr. Mike Schmitz, Chika Anyanwu, and Fr. Josh Johnson, are set to return in 2024. The SEEK website currently lists nearly 120 speakers. FOCUS missionaries traverse college campuses across the United States and beyond, spreading the Catholic faith through Bible study and small groups. They adhere to "The Small Way of Evangelization," which involves guiding a few individuals toward the faith through genuine friendships and preparing others to do the same. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Colorado-based organization.
