FOCUS' SEEK 2021 conference to take place virtually in February

SW News: SEEK21 organized by FOCUS (The Fellowship of Catholic University Students), will be held from February 4 -7, 2021. SEEK21 will be broadcast live and is intended to be taken part in groups of 7-10 people, observing the local COVID-19 protocols in the area.

SEEK21 “will be an interactive, immersive event that brings thousands together in small groups to encounter the heart of the Gospel and share it with others,” stated the FOCUS website.

The panel of renowned keynote speakers include Bishop Robert Barron, Fr. Mike Schmitz, Sr. Miriam James Heidland, Sr. Bethany Madonna, Curtis Martin, S.V., Francis Chan, Immaculée Ilibagiza, Hilary Draftz, Dr. Jonathan Reyes and Dr. Edward Sri.

Impact session speakers will be Dr. Scott Hahn, Jason Evert, Jeff Cavins, Leah Darrow, John Zimmer, Jennifer Fulwiler, Tim Gray, Trent Horn, Damon Owens, Oscar Rivera Jr., Lila Rose, Chris Stefanick and Sarah Swafford.

Some of the conference speakers will travel to different cities during SEEK21 to meet with the live audiences, following local regulations.

There will be a Worldwide Prayer Vigil on Saturday, February 6, at 10:30 p.m. ET. The participants will take part in live Eucharistic adoration which will be held simultaneously across the globe.

The Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS) was founded in 1998, by Curtis Martin and Edward Sri at Benedictine College. FOCUS ministry has been playing an important role in evangelizing young people in the United States and abroad since its inception.

The mission of the FOCUS ministry is to “share the hope and joy of the gospel with college and university students, inspiring and equipping them for a lifetime of Christ-centered evangelization, discipleship and friendships in which they lead others to do the same.”
