SW News: A Catholic priest, Father Fidelis Moscinski CFR, along with two other pro-lifers Matthew Connolly and William Goodman has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for trespassing an abortion clinic at White Plains in New York City. They were arrested while they were engaged in a Red Rose Rescue campaign to dissuade women from aborting their babies.
According to Red Rose Rescue organization, “they were given a $200 surcharge, a $500 fine, and a $50 DNA charge.” The incident happened in November last year and the verdict was announced by the White Plains City court in March.
Quoting the prophet Isaiah, Father Fidelis in his closing statement said, “Woe to those who call good evil and evil good. Woe to those who call abortion a right.” Goodman exclaimed “Vivo Christo Rey” (Long Live Christ the King) while he was taken out of the courtroom.
Red Rose Rescue’s pro-life campaign is akin to the pro-life activism of Mary Wagner who frequently entered the abortion centers of Toronto in Canada and counseled pregnant women in order to discourage them from undergoing abortions.
Red Rose Rescue has requested prayers for the pro-life activists.
