SW News: The Bishops of the Philippines have also launched a prayer campaign, in their case, specifically aimed at ending the COVID-19 pandemic. Entitled ‘Ten Hail Mary’s Daily’ the bishops are calling upon all Filipinos to recite 10 Hail Marys at 12 noon every day.  The prayer campaign will also begin on August 15, the Solemnity of the Assumption, and will also end on September 15, the feast of Our Lady of Sorrows. The campaign was launched by the bishops in a pastoral message on Wednesday, prior to the upcoming opening of the new academic year in Philippines.
