Catholic men in Mexico to make an act of surrender before Our Lady of Guadalupe

SW News: Catholic men across Mexico will be expressing their fidelity to Our Lady of Guadalupe through a public act of surrender. The solemn event will take place in the Basilica of Guadalupe and in public squares across the country. The act of surrender is to honor the Virgin Mary and to pledge their lives to her.
The event entitled "Men for the Queen" will begin on Friday, October 29, at 7 pm local time. Catholic men have been told to make a general confession and come dressed in white with their Rosaries, an image of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and the flag of Mexico.
According to Brenda del Río, leader of the Que Viva México platform, the aim of organizing such an event is to stress that "Mexican men will perform an act of love and honor before the Queen of Mexico." She said it would be "an act of opening the doors of their homes to Christ and his reign in Mexico."
She said that the male figure is the enemy of dictatorial globalism because "they want to blur its presence in family and national life." Brenda stressed that men are natural protectors appointed by God to defend women and their families. She also said that single women are more exposed to poverty and violence in the absence of a man.
According to her, if men knew their responsibilities clearly, then the Immaculate Heart of Our Lady will triumph.
