SW News: Thousands of Catholic men will assemble in hundreds of cities on five continents on Saturday, May 6, to pray the rosary publicly. The Men’s Rosary has the greatest participation in the Hispanic sphere.
Apart from Spain, thousands of men will gather together to pray to Our Lady for peace and the defeat of the gender agenda and the attacks on the traditional family in several Latin American nations. They include Argentina, Peru, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama, Chile, Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, the Philippines and Brazil.
The Men’s Rosary will also take place in the United Arab Emirates and Indonesia in Asia while the African continent will witness the prayer gathering in South Africa and Zambia. In Europe, the rosary will be conducted in Poland, where it first began, the UK, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Hungary, Austria, France, Ireland, Lithuania, Croatia, Ukraine, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden and Denmark.
In Socialist Spain, where the oppression of the Church and the Christian faith is rampant, a huge turnout
is expected in four provinces. In the capital, Madrid, the rosary will be recited at 7.30 pm at the Plaza de la Villa. In Catalonia, there are three venues for the prayer service. In Tenerife, the Cathedral of San Cristobal de la Laguna will witness men gathering to pray the rosary.
Argentina was the last nation where the Men’s Rosary took the longest to reach. Last year, thousands of men took part in the prayer in the Plaza de Mayo in Buenos Aires. This year, the rosary will be recited in 50 other cities in the nation.
Argentina’s Men’s Rosary Coordinator Segundo Carafi told Catholic web portal Carifilli.com that there will be no province in the country where the rosary will not be recited. "It is important to express your faith publicly, because Catholicism is a public faith, not a private one, as some governments want to impose," he said.
He said that the rosary will be recited to atone for the many crimes committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary in recent times by people who adhere to Christo-phobic ideologies.
