SW News: Our Sunday Visitor, a Catholic media based in Huntington, Indiana, has choosen eight  people as 2019 Catholics of the Year. The list includes president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops Archbishop Jose H. Gomez, St. John Henry Newman, Asia Bibi and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Sunday Visitor said they are proud to honor eight such people — clergy, religious and lay Catholics who have inspired others through the faithful witness of their lives.They thanked them for their service to the Church and for being shining examples of how to follow the will of God.
