SW News:
The National Eucharistic Congress in the United States of America has officially launched the application process for young people who desire to become perpetual pilgrims for the upcoming National Eucharistic Pilgrimage.
From May 17–19, 2024, the journey of faith will begin in San Francisco, Bemidji, Minnesota, New Haven, Connecticut, and Brownsville, Texas. The National Eucharistic Revival movement and Modern Catholic Pilgrim, an American Catholic group dedicated to strengthening the faith via pilgrimages, are collaborating to organize the pilgrimage.
A series of four cross-country Eucharistic processions lasting two months and a remarkable 6,500 miles will climax in Indianapolis on July 16, 2024, coinciding with the National Eucharistic Congress, in an astounding demonstration of faith and devotion. Perpetual Catholic pilgrims must be between the ages of 19 and 29, in good health, able to travel large distances, and ready to adhere to Catholic principles during the trip.
It is scheduled for the summer of 2024 and promises to be a transformative event for all who attend. According to sources, the Congress will give accommodation, food, and a weekly stipend to eternal pilgrims who must gather finances before the voyage.
The pilgrimage is part of a three-year campaign by the Catholic bishops of the United States to develop a stronger relationship with Jesus via the sacrament of the Eucharist.
