Pro-life coffee company raises $300K to support pregnancy resource centers

Alaska:
Seven Weeks Coffee, a pro-life coffee business dedicated to promoting Godly Values, providing excellent coffee, and safeguarding every heartbeat, has contributed nearly $300,000 to Pregnancy Resource Centers nationwide. The aim is to empower these centers to continue acting as shields and defenders of pregnant women.
Established in 2021, the company was named after a woman's pregnancy stage, when her pre-born baby is as big as a coffee bean. Founder Anton Krecic describes Seven Weeks Coffee as a "grassroots movement" that has gained momentum as more people spread the word about it. Seven Weeks Coffee donates 10% of its profits to pregnancy resource centers.
Krecic stated that between the company's inception and the one-year commemoration of Roe v Wade's reversal, they raised approximately $125,000. The company has raised the same amount again within six months. In addition to partnering with over 700 pregnancy centers, Seven Weeks Coffee collaborates with several pro-life organizations, including the Centre for Client Safety and Sidewalk Advocates for Life.
Krecic attributes the company's continued growth to the support of prominent pro-life leaders such as Lila Rose and Albie Beth Stuckey and its partnerships with more than 700 pregnancy centers. He encourages coffee lovers to support their local pregnancy centers by purchasing Seven Weeks Coffee. "They understand the real pain that people are going through," Krecic said of pregnancy resource centers, "and they are intervening in a crisis to protect both mom and child."
The founder of Seven Weeks Coffee said his company has partnered with pregnancy centers across the country, including Alaska, New York State, Virginia, Texas, and Pennsylvania. In August, the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced the termination of a contract with Real Alternatives, a group of pregnancy centers that provide a range of services to pregnant women, such as temporary shelter and parenting assistance.
Pro-life opponents claim that pregnancy centers use deceptive tactics to trick women into taking the lives of their children. They also say that pregnancy centers deceive women by pretending to be medical clinics. Krecic emphasizes that pregnancy centers are free medical care centers for women in crisis and that there are no financial motivations behind them. "Pregnancy centers exist to help a mother and child, and abortion clinics exist to sell abortion to convince mothers that it is their only option," he said.
According to a December 2023 survey conducted by several pro-life organizations, including one known for its research on pregnancy centers, 2,750 centers were surveyed across 50 states in 2022. The report found that the centers served over 970,000 people and provided more than $350 million in services for women and families.
Nearly 44,000 volunteers and 17,600 paid staff provided support to women seeking care at pro-life pregnancy centers. More than 97% of women who sought care at a pro-life pregnancy resource center said their experience was positive.
